A PRACTICAL EVENING FOR FAMILIES AND EDUCATORS
Helping children navigate an anxious world
Parents and educators are hearing more than ever about anxiety, depression, social pressures, smartphones, and social media. But knowing how to respond—without becoming overwhelmed ourselves—can be difficult.
SEED invites parents, caregivers, educators, and everyone who supports children and teens to an evening with nationally recognized psychotherapist, author, and speaker Lynn Lyons. Drawing on current research and 35 years of clinical experience, Lynn will share practical strategies families can use to manage worry, strengthen emotional skills, and respond more effectively to the pressures facing young people today.
This event reflects SEED’s commitment to supporting the academic, social and emotional well-being of Dover students and families.
THE CENTRAL MESSAGE
Being proactive gives families more power than waiting to react when problems arise.
