EMPOWERING DOVER’S EDUCATORS. INSPIRING STUDENTS.

Dear Supporter of Education,
SEED sponsors and donors are united in supporting Dover’s schools for the benefit of the community. For over 14 years, the Seacoast Educational Endowment for Dover (SEED) has advanced academic innovation, technology, and educator excellence by awarding over $350,000 in grants that have enriched learning experiences for Dover students.

Grant Highlights
Author-in-Residence: Josh Funk – Woodman Park School Funded a residency with award-winning children's book author Josh Funk, known for his STEM-focused picture books including How to Code a Sandcastle and Dear Dragon. Students engaged directly with Funk's creative process, exploring the intersection of literacy, storytelling, and computational thinking.

District-Wide Kindergarten Curriculum Enhancement Awarded $1,000 to each kindergarten classroom across the district to purchase supplemental materials and resources that enhance the newly implemented Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) curriculum, ensuring a robust foundational learning experience for our youngest students.
